This summer, Paris was in the grip of a sex wave of remarkable intensity.
The Minister for Womem's Rights, Nicole Pery, even comissioned a
report on "L'image des
femmes dans la publicite" which she published in July 2001, and the english paper
The Guardian
raised an eyebrow. I took most of these pictures in the morning after
the Savignac opening, unaware of what was to going to happen a few hours later.
Shortly afterwards, the world had other
worries, the Belle Epoque was over, and the
mood had changed.
