The spacious galleries of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art hosted an exhibition of five graphic designers who are
"among the most distinguished artists in the world", as curator Farshid Mesghali introduced them in the catalogue.
It was not only an introduction of world class graphic design to the iranian public, and particularly the students, but also an homage to Morteza Momayez. Mesghali writes "Almost half a century of relentless efforts in education, founding the Society of Graphic Designers, and introducing new perspectives in Iranian graphic design are but a few of the services he has rendered to the art community and have secures a high place and international recognition for him" |
