The Winners of the first biennale of "ASMAOLHOSNA", the First Biennial Iran
Poster Typography were announced.
Accordingly, the jury board announced the selected artists of the main
section of the exhibition are as follow:
Armin Mahdavi, the third winner of the main section of the biennale
Jilla Pashaei, the selected artist of TODAYSPOSTERS website
Hassan Mousavizadeh, one of the two selected artists of the Museum of
Tehran's Contemporary Arts
Somayeh Nik-Zad was announced as the first winner for simplicity in form,
making visual structure for letters and conceptual creativity in appliance
of writing in design of the poster. Behrang Mazloumi got the second award
for creation and renovation in applying the letters and keeping traditional
and Iranian identity. And Armin Mahdavi was selected as the third winner for
good usage of form and color in aesthetic structure and creating visual
atmosphere for his poster design.
The prize of the best work from the addressee's viewpoint was given to Jilla
Pashaei, due to the todaysposters website.
The winners of the Museum of Tehran's Contemporary Arts were: in the
collection works Seyed Hassan Mousazadeh and Nargess Safaei in culture
posters section. The prize of this section was a study trip to France and a
two-month residential in the city of artists in Paris.
The special prize of the society of Iran's Independent Designers was
dedicated to Ehsan Parsa.
