EKOPLAGAT '17 Results Announcement Based on the decision of EKOPLAGAT ´17 International Jury (Wladislaw Pluta (PL) (chairman), Dana Doricova (SK), Pavol Choma (SK), Milan Mazur (SK), Jan Rajlich ) ml. (CZ) made on 28 th June 2017 in Museum of Art in Zilina the winning authors and posters are as follows: Grand Prix - CHOJNA Elzbieta, Poland, for posters: Plastic Garbage, 2015; 1 Cow = 1 Car, 2015; Plant a Tree!, 2015 1 st Prize – FRASCA Aniello, Switzerland, for poster: Typography and Nature, 2015 2 nd Prize – FLORIANCIC Matej, Slovakia, for poster: Countdown begun, 2017 3 rd Prize – LI Mingliang, China, for poster: Symbiosis, 2015 Honourable mention of the jury to the author DREWINSKI Lex, Germany / Poland for creation in the field of ecology, participation on the triennial Ekoplagat and for collection of posters: Crossing, 2016; Without Title, 2014/15; Providence, 2017; It´s not a Play Boy, 2017 Honourable mention of the jury: KASPERCZYK Magdalena, Poland, for poster: Scream, 2016 Honourable mention of the jury: MISKOVA Adriana, Slovakia, for posters: On Mars, 4 pieces, 2017 Prizes of partners: CWI (Carpathian Wetland Initiative) Prize – NAGYOVA Rita, Slovakia, for poster: Mess less – save the Rivers, 2017 Certificate of Merit of the Minister of Foreign and European affairs of the Slovak republic Prize - SHA Feng, China, for poster: Water is Life, 2015 Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Environment of SR Prize - FLORIANCIC Matej, Slovakia, for poster: Countdown begun, 2017 Prize of The Mayor of Zilina - FILIPOVIC Dejan, Slovakia, for poster: Eco Poster, 2017 Altogether, 138 authors with 259 posters from 21 countries of Europe, Asia and America joined the triennial EKOPLAGAT 2017 exhibition. For the collection of this year’s Ekoplagat, the Selection Committee have chosen 177 posters from 93 authors from 19 countries out of all the received posters. Online voting on www.npmalafatra.sk for „the best poster of the public“ is an accompanying event this year. It is also possible to join this voting in Museum of Art in Zilina, where voting tickets can be used. Voting is open from 30th June 2017 until 27th August 2017, which is a date of exhibition closure. The results will be available on the website www.npmalafatra.sk and www.pgu.sk We would like to thank all the authors for taking part in 14th triennial EKOPLAGAT Zilina and we wish you success in further work.
