1995, exhibition of Zebrowski theater posters,
originally made for the play Ferdydurke by W. Gombrowicz |
1999, Cabaret festival Dymnalia |
1996, Zebrowski poster exhibition
The poster shows the mazurian lake lands in northeastern Poland, where Zebrowski spends his summer vacations, watches birds, sits and thinks |
The decision to make this web exhibition came after seeing the latest poster for the yearly festival Dymnalia, in memory of the cabaretist Wieslaw Dymny. The witty interpretation of a toilet seat as a face, and it's technically superb execution, convinced me that Zebrowski's skills are still ahead of many graphics programs when it comes to distinguish between smooth skin and smooth plastic. |
