The previous web exhibition on iranian election posters was a great success, judged by the number of visitors it had (maybe all the Secret Services studied it carefully). Anyway, I had great pleasure when Majid Abbasi from Tehran sent me some new pictures, made by his colleague Kambiz Shafei, of the presidential elections 2005. Again, this report is neither an endorsement for or against any particular candidate or party, nor does it claim to be representative, or reflect the mood in the country, nor do I understand the text on the posters. But I find them very interesting and am happy that others begin to appreciate the beauty of these important documents of current life.
