Jean-Benoit Levy wites:

Dear visual colleagues

Together with my friend and partner in this adventure – Erik Adigard ( another AGI and AIGA-member ) in San Francisco and professional colleagues from Leipzig in Germany ( Plakat Sozial ) we have launched an international poster competition on the theme "Occupy: What's Next?" It would be great if you could spread the word through the Icograda website and blog.

The first posters are already coming in and we are exited to announce that we have decided to offer this poster competition for FREE.

About this competition:
To us, the movement "occupy" is not really having a strong support and clear directions.
We believe that not everything has been expressed and created about this matter yet.
The main issues on which it is based are not new, were here before in history and will not disappear in the future.

Our main focus on "Occupy" are directed toward "What's next" ?
We hope that trough this competition, with your help, and the motivation of your students, posters that propose ideas and solutions for a sustainable future will be created and ideas for a dialogue about social inequalities will be expressed.

The deadline is April, 30th, which is in 8 weeks.
This should leave enough time for our members to create a poster on the subject.
There are no fee for this competition.
