INTRODUCTION
3rd International Student Poster Competition 2010 "e c o L O G I C"

Climate change, global warming, biodiversity loss, drinking water and sanitation problems,
loss of environmental resources, pollution, Kyoto protocol, Copenhagen summit… take an
action and step forward. Show your opinion about this enormous problem facing our planet.
Say it loud!!!
We invite students of graphic design and visual arts from all over the world to make a poster
contribution, to this topic. It will have a direct effect on the society by opening new horizons
and giving a strong motivation for the people to work towards a better future. This project
should promote the ‘poster’ as a mean of expressing these ideas among the European and
world wide youth.

ORGANIZATION

This year, PLAKART will realized the 3rd ISPC in partnership with the Museum of the City of
Skopje, Warsaw Museum of Poster, AUG the Czech Graphic Design Association and the
Faculty of Fine Arts, from Marmara University, Istanbul.
The Ministry of Culture of Macedonia as its patronage continues supporting the mission of
PLAKART as well as the following post review exhibition, where ever we go.
One of the goals of this project is to merge the students from world academies and Europe in
the territory of the Republic of Macedonia.
"be ecoLOGIC” will strive for a cultural development of the young people and their social and
cultural independence. One of the aspects of this situation is the lack of possibilities for self-
actualization, namely achieving their aspiration and life ambitions. The organizer of this
competition will continue promoting young artist and their posters around the globe,
creating traveling exhibitions in Poland, Czech Republic, Serbia, Turkey, Israel...

PRIZES:

First Prize: 1500 Euros
Second Prize: 1000 Euros
Third Prize: 600 Euros
Also, the jury will select 7 honorable mentions for the best posters that communicate the
ecoLOGIC issue.

ISPC continues with the tradition to bring the poster to the street

We strongly believe that the real place of the poster is actually the street. Therefore we
continue promoting the street art concept for a better communication with the public and
stronger effect from the messages.
We are going forward in giving the real meaning of the poster, which makes us more
effective in promoting the messages than the similar poster manifestations, competitions
and biennales in the world.
The 3 winning and 7 honorable poster mentions, from the 3rd ISPC "be ecoLOGIC” will be
exposed to the billboards and posters in Skopje and in several cities in Europe, where the
post review exhibitions are planned.
