Positive Posters (PP) is an international poster design competition for graphic design students, professionals and illustrators that aims to connect design and community. This bi-annual competition will spark a movement that will bridge borders and promote positive thought in places that need it most.

How it works
PP gathers entries from the global design community by hosting a bi-annual competition for graphic design students, professionals and illustrators.
Entrants design a positive visual response to a set theme, with a panel of judges selecting one winner of thirty shortlisted finalists.

The winning poster is printed and posted on the streets of Melbourne taken across the globe with the help of our PP partners.

The Brief
Design a poster that will stand out from the mass of media that exists in our cities and that has a positive message inspired by the first theme.

Theme: Change
Don’t be afraid of change. Change can be positive. While there are some things that are changing for the worst at the moment, we think that there is always room for changes that achieve a positive outcome.

The entries will be viewed and voted on by a panel of leading creatives from Melbourne around the world. The judging panel will assess entries based on the strength of the visual impact, the message that is being communicated and how strongly the entry represents and expresses the theme.

Judges
David Berman (Canada)
Ruth Klotzel (Brazil)
Andy Sargeant (Australia)
Jono Wallace (Australia)
