Design the winning image for the 2008 Adelaide Fringe and be part of Fringe history! The winning image will become the official poster of the 2008 Adelaide Fringe - but not only do you get the kudos, the winner will also receive 2 return flights to Hong Kong flying Malaysia Airlines and 4 night’s accommodation on us!
The Image
Our winning image will be iconic, that is, in itself it can be used against a variety of settings or backdrops. It can be inspired by a variety of mediums but entries must be two-dimensional, A2 hard copies.
Background
With nearly 4,000 independent artists participating in more than 400 events, and audience attendance approaching one million, the three week Adelaide Fringe immerses the city in the latest in new and cutting-edge performing and visual arts and to international acclaim as one of the most lively and challenging events of its kind in the world.
The winning design will be printed on posters, promotional material, stationery and merchandise.
Eligibility
Individuals and design schools/firms are invited to submit entries. Only one entry per designer will be accepted. There is no entry fee for the competition.
Deadline
Entries must be received by 5pm, Wednesday 5 September 2007 with a completed entry form attached to the rear of the entry. Under no circumstances will late entries be accepted.
