Chinese Character International Poster Exhibition, 2003

Inspired by global interest in Chinese culture, the Taiwan Poster Design
Association (TPDA) invites all international graphic designers to submit posters for their forthcoming poster exhibition. Organizers Tung Fang Institute of Technology (TFTI) and the TPDA hope that the exhibition will promote communication in international poster design. The exhibition will occur 10-23 November 2003 in Kaohsiung at the TFTI Gallery and 29 November - 4 December 2003 in Taipei at the National Taiwan Normal University Gallery. The exhibition is supported by the Department of Fine Arts, National Taiwan Normal University; the Institute of Visual Communication Design, National Kaohsiung Normal University; the Department of Art & Craft Education, National Taiwan Teachers College; the Department of Graphic Design, National Taiching Institute of Technology; and the Department of Visual Communication Design, Tainan Woman's College of Arts & Technology. Entry rules: All entries may be new or old designs. All entries must clearly demonstrate an aspect of Chinese character. Entries will not be returned. The entry label for each poster must be submitted with the work. Please attach one copy of the entry form to the label and affix both on the left side of the back of the work. All submissions must be no smaller than 594 mm x 841 mm and no larger than 1030 mm x 1456 mm. An electronic file of the poster on CD-ROM in A4 format must accompany the submission for catalogue publication. Electronic files must be TIF or AI, 350 dpi and CMYK images. Please enclose a 5 cm x 5 cm photo of the artist. Submission forms may be requested from the address below. All entries must be received at the following address by 30 September 2003.
